The personal website of artist Aaron Axelrod.  This site brought a clean new look to Aaron's Existing content.  Our focus was to provide a site that would improve the user experience, maintain a consistent design intent across site sections, and improve SEO capabilities.  It was important to Aaron that he be able to continue managing his galleriesusing the same utility, so we customized the existing technologies on his site to make them fit within the new design.

This project was particularly interesting because of the unique style and needs of the fine art industry.  We provided a stable platform with custom programmed site sections that allow the gallery staff to keep their site updated with minimal effort.  All of this was done with a design intent that was appropriate for the industry and took into account the unique needs of the client including cross-browser compatibility with an emphasis on Mac platforms, site design that would scale effectively for screen resolutions ranging from the residential standard of 1024x768 up to 1680x1050 which is more common with designers and art professionals.

Green Youth Movement, a 501(c)(3) Non-profit organization, dedicated to improving environmental awareness through student-driven educational programs in primary and secondary schools, approached AJM Consulting on a referral after two very negative experiences with other web-design firms.  They were concerned that they only had partial graphic design files, the 2009 school year was fast approaching, and they had no way to update the content on their website themselves.

We were able to completely transfer their design and content to a new CMS based system, infering the missing graphic design where necessary, get the site live, and train their staff to manage the site in only four weeks so that they could be ready for the new school year.

Additionally, we were able to create an easy management system to handle donations and product sales through their Paypal merchant gateway.

Micah came to us with a new visual design created by Nick Bissel.  AJM Consulting handled the conversion of the visual design to an HTML/CSS based template.  Additionally, we added the functionality necessary to allow Micah to manage his advertising space, display feeds from his Twitter and YouTube channel, and allow visitors to re-tweet and email posts to friends.  We also converted many of the static elements in the right hand column of the site design to widgets, allowing Micah to have granular control over the layout of his site without needing to enlist the help of a programmer.

Adam Biesk Inc. needed a fresh design for their existing site to go with their updated brand; however, they wanted to keep their existing custom back-end.  They wanted a very clean, minimalist design that was functional and user-friendly. AJM Consulting was able to work with them to achieve goals in a very short period of time and without interrupting their business.
